NEW for 2010 ~ Air Shuttle from Calgary or Edmonton:
We now have access to air shuttles from Calgary or Edmonton, saving considerable travel time. For groups, this will save considerable time at reasonable charter costs. Please inquire!

Exclusivity Packaging - entails the entire facility is at the disposal of the group. To exclusively book our facility and to ensure it is your private retreat with no other guests on site, we require booking based on 8 guests in your group.

Specific Guiding - You can request to have a guide for your entire trip at Fortress Lake. This is done per boat - 1 or 2 anglers per boat, or per 4 guests who are able to run their own boat. The rate for specific guiding is $250 per day per guide.

Float Plane baggage bound for Fortress Lake is restricted. This is a safety measure, and Transport Canada Regulations require that we weigh your gear when you arrive at the float plane base.
Total weight, between your gear, all clothing, and your body weight shall not exceed 250 pounds. For guests with additional total weight, a second seat charge of $250 may apply, depending on the flight dynamics. We will always do our best to help avoid this charge.

NEW for 2010 ~ Campers! Pontoon Boat Rentals
Campers using primitive camp sites at Fortress Lake may rent pontoon boats for $150 per boat per day:

Repairs required due to wildlife damage, misuse, or accidents will be attempted. Where repairs are impossible, customer pays for pontoon replacement. Repairs charged $50 per patch.
Lost or destroyed items will be charged to customers.
Lost anchor $100
Pfd, whistle, tow rope; emergency repair kit will be provided.
Rental duration is strictly agreed to due to transportation requirements.

*All anglers require BC Fishing License to be purchased online prior to your trip. *12% HST will be added to all trips, goods & services. *Alcohol is available for purchase on site. Power Boat Use - included in all inclusive packages at Fortress Lake Retreat for guests only, due to liability. We provide 1 tank of fuel per boat per day; tow rope; anchor; whistle; pfd. Repairs to motor are charged to customer on a delivered to lake repair/replacement cost basis. *Hike/Bike pkg - arrival day is first day of booking, regardless of arrival time. Departure/check out is 12pm (day not charged).
