Welcome to Fly Fish Alberta! Since 1996, we've hosted guided fly fishing trips in Alberta, Canada. Our waters are centered NW of the city of Calgary, Alberta: the world famous Bow River; the hunting style fly fishing for large brown trout on the Red Deer River; hatch chasing on our intimate brown trout streams; and back country wilderness cutthroat trout of the Ram River system. We've had many exceptional moments hosting trips to our waters! In 2005, we purchased Fortress Lake Retreat. Fortress Lake is a world class brook trout destination that has scenery no other brook trout location has - set in the Canadian Rocky Mountains United Nations World Heritage Site. With incredible scenery and trophy brook trout, we strive to make this your best trip possible!
